About Me
My coach approach
I use humor and creatively structured approaches to create a safe playground to put your ideas into action so the important work gets done. I will help you clarify your development goals as we co-create your development journey together. If you want to get creative, we can use Mural, a digital workspace for visual collaboration, to outline your program journey. If you want to work through a difficult conversation, we can talk through frameworks and then role-play the situation. All activities and coaching conversations will be in service of you reaching your goals. People I have worked with appreciate my down-to-earth and authentic approach to coaching conversations. They feel comfortable sharing their challenges and tell me they don’t feel judged. They also appreciate that we can have fun and laugh during our conversations while being serious about making progress toward what is most important to them.
My background
I have 15 years of experience designing leadership development programs, leading dynamic group conversations, and coaching high-potential leaders.
I worked for twelve years as a senior leadership development analyst and leadership development coach for State Farm Insurance. I created customized boutique-style executive leadership learning experiences and developed and led the company executive coaching program. Before working in learning and development, I spent seven years leading large production teams of 20 to 55 temporary, part-time, and full-time employees and four years leading professional development initiatives in higher education.
Recently, I supported a product launch through IDEO as a newly formed design sprint coach team. In addition, I helped the California State University Chancellor’s office launch its first campus-wide leadership development program with wraparound coaching support.
